| Technical Trainer
We are seeking a technically skilled, energetic, positive and motivated person based out of our corporate office in Syracuse, NY to become our Technical Trainer. Our newest team member will be traveling primarily in Eastern and Central NY to develop and conduct programs to train employees and or customers on the repair, installation, maintenance, programming, troubleshooting, diagnostics tooling, proper processes, proper methods, and operations of machinery and equipment ensuring compliance with all company and OSHA regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible to develop, update, and maintain technical information archives and in-house training materials for field support personnel and provide technical support and assistance to forklift service technicians.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- High school diploma or GED required and three to five years of forklift technician experience and or training; or an equivalent combination.
- Obtain Toyota & Crown Factory Certification within one year.
- Must have and maintain a valid NYS drivers’ license free of major infractions.
- Ability to safely and efficiently operate a forklift.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, post information to a database or spreadsheet, perform word processing and create spreadsheets, graphics, and reports.
- Ability to travel by ground and air and work variable hours at various locations based on business requirements.
- Knowledge of all forklift technical training requirements.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical information, manuals, procedures, and governmental regulations.
- Must have the ability to write business reports, correspondence and procedure manuals and course materials.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to speak effectively.
- Strong teaching and facilitation skills.
- Willingness to learn

Mechanic (LP-Gas-Diesel-Electric) Forklift Repair Albany, Binghamton, Elmira, & Syracuse
We are seeking technically skilled, positive, motivated, and flexible individuals to assist our customers. Candidates will be required to diagnose and perform repair and planned maintenance work on material handling and related equipment ensuring service meets all customer, quality, and industry standards and requirements.
Qualifications Required;
· High school diploma or equivalent required and three to five years of forklift technician experience and or training; or an equivalent combination.
· Must have at the time of hire, and maintain throughout employment, a valid NYS Class D driver’s license free of major infractions.
· Must be able to work beyond normal or scheduled works hours on an as needed basis.
· Must be available to be on-call before/after normal business hours.
· Must supply your own working set of professional grade tools.
· Must have knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
· Must be able to read a map, understand directions, and follow standard operating procedures.
· Must be able to diagnose problems and perform repairs.
· Must be able to work independently using effective organizational and time management skills with minimum direction.
· Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with customers and coworkers.
· Must have the ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare required paperwork in a timely manner.
· Ability to exert in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, sit, walk, talk, hear, see, smell, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, work while in a supine position, reach, push, pull, lift, use fingers, grasp, feel, and perform repetitive motions.
